What zero retention means
The moment a call to your line ends, voice.aai.dev writes a summary, attaches the recording, and emails both to you. Then the call is deleted from our systems. Your inbox holds the only copy. There is no call archive on our side to browse, breach, subpoena, or leak — because we don't keep one. And your callers' conversations are never used to train our models or anyone else's.
This is the default on every voice.aai.dev line — not a premium tier, not a setting to find.
Why we build it this way
Phone calls to a law firm, an immigration practice, or a body shop carry sensitive things: legal trouble, immigration status, insurance claims, addresses. The industry norm is to store all of it indefinitely in a vendor dashboard — which means every one of those vendors is quietly accumulating a liability on behalf of its customers. We think the honest architecture is the opposite one: deliver the record to its owner, then hold nothing. What doesn't exist can't be exposed.
The trade-off is real, and we state it plainly: once your email is delivered, we cannot recover a call for you — not later, not for anyone. Your inbox is the archive, so your inbox has to work. That's a deliberate exchange of convenience for safety, and we think it's the right one for businesses whose callers trust them.
