Privacy & retention, for owners.

The Security page states our posture. This page is the practical version: what zero retention changes about running your business on voice.aai.dev.

The short version

After each call, the summary and recording are emailed to you and the call is deleted from our systems. We keep nothing; you keep everything. Your callers' conversations are never stored in a vendor archive and never used to train models — ours or anyone's. That's the whole model, it's the default on every line, and the full posture is on the Security page.

What it changes for you, day to day

Your archiveYour inbox is the call archive. Searching old calls means searching your email — which most owners find they prefer.
RecoveryWe cannot re-send a call after delivery — there's nothing on our side to re-send. Deleted the email? The call is gone.
Records dutyIf your trade must keep records, keeping the emails is how — your email retention policy is now your call retention policy.
Caller questionsIf a caller asks about a past call, the answer lives with you, not us — you hold the only record.

What we never do

  • No call archive. There is no dashboard of your recordings on our side, because there are no recordings on our side.
  • No training. Your calls don't improve our models or anyone else's. Ever.
  • No selling or sharing. Call data isn't marketing data. Telephony and email providers are used only to place calls and deliver your email.

We state practices; we don't wave badges. You won't find compliance logos here that we haven't earned — you'll find architecture you can reason about.

Your side of the bargain

Two things stay on your plate. First, deliverability: the email is the record, so follow the steps in the post-call email doc to make sure it lands and stays. Second, recording lawfulness: call-recording rules vary by jurisdiction, and confirming that recording is lawful for your business and callers is your responsibility — the same as with any recording setup, as our terms spell out. Anything unclear, ask a person — privacy questions get human answers here. The site-visitor side of privacy lives in the privacy policy.
