What's in it
It arrives right after the call ends — including transferred calls, so you have a record of those conversations' intake too.
Why it's the only copy
Once your email is delivered, the call is deleted from our systems — that's the zero-retention posture, and it's the default on every line. The upside is that there's no vendor archive of your callers' conversations sitting anywhere. The flip side is stated just as plainly in privacy & retention: we cannot re-send or recover a call later. Your inbox is the archive.
Make sure it lands
Because the email is the record, deliverability is part of the system — treat it accordingly:
- Add the sending address to your contacts when your line goes live, so the first real lead doesn't land in spam.
- Choose the right inbox — one that's actually watched during your working day. We can deliver to more than one address if your team splits the phone.
- Keep what you need. Your inbox's retention is now your call archive's retention. If your trade needs records kept, keep the emails.
If anything about delivery needs changing later — new address, new person, new team — tell us and we change it for you.
